In timpul anuntarii castigatorului la categoria International Group/Duo of the Year, coregraful Kemal Ouali si Kesha i-au strigat pe cei de la Black Eyed Peas sa urce pe scena pentru a primi premiul pentru cea mai buna trupa internationala a anului.

Nici n-au apucat bine cantaretii sa se ridice de pe scaune, ca cel care a comis gafa si-a cerut scuze si a afirmat ca a comis o greseala. Kemal a motivat ca pe lista pe care a primit-o erau trecuti toti nominalizatii si a citit gresit numele castigatorului.

In hiduilelile salii, coregraful a anuntat ca Tokio Hotel sunt adevaratii castigatori.

Totusi, Black Eyed Peas n-au plecat cu mana goala. Ei au primit, pe bune, premiul pentru Piesa Anului – I Gotta Feeling .

Printre castigatorii Premiilor NRJ 2010 s-au numarat Lady GaGa, Rihanna, David Guetta, Beyonce si Robbie Williams.
