Adorați de întreg mapamondul, idolii rock din Nashville, cei patru membrii ai familiei Followill și ai trupei Kings Of Leon, vor susține un magnific show muzical în România sâmbătă, 17 iunie, pe Arena Națională. Concertul face parte din turneul de promovare al celui mai recent album intitulat “WALLS” și este organizat în parteneriat cu Primăria Municipiului București.

Headlineri ai celor mai mari festivaluri din lume: Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde și Lollapalooza (Berlin, Chicago, Santiago Chile), în 14 ani de carieră, cei patru Kings Of Leon, au produs 7 albume, au vândut peste 18 milioane de albume și peste 24 de milioane de single-uri în întreaga lume și au câștigat 2 premii Grammy: unul pentru “Sex on Fire” în 2009 și unul pentru “Use Somebody” în 2010.

Îmbinând mai multe stiluri ca hard rock, alternative rock și garage rock, Kings of Leon, s-a bucurat de succesul inițial, în Marea Britanie, obținând primele poziții în “Top 40 Single”, două premii BRIT în 2008 și un premiu Juno. Mai mult, primele trei albume ale trupei au cucerit rând pe rând poziții fruntașe în top “5 UK Albums”. Cel de-al treilea album al lor, “Because of the Times”, de asemenea, a atins poziția #1. După lansarea “Only by the night” în septembrie 2008, formația a obținut succes și în Statele Unite. Single-urile "Sex on Fire", "Use Somebody" și "Notion" s-au clasat toate pe poziția #1 în topul ”Hot Modern Rock Tracks”. Albumul a fost certificat cu platină în Statele Unite, și a fost cel mai bine vândut album din 2008 în Australia, fiind certificat cu platină de nouă ori. Cel de-al 5-lea album al formației, “Come Around Sundown”, a fost lansat pe 18 octombrie 2010, iar cel de-al 6-lea album, “Mechanical Bull”, a fost lansat pe 24 septembrie 2013. “WALLS”, cel mai recent album și cel care marchează numărul șapte, a fost lansat pe 14 octombrie 2016.

Trupa americană formată în Nashville,Tennessee este compusă din frații Anthony Caleb Followill (vocal, chitară ritmică), Ivan Nathan Followill (tobe, percuție, back vocal) and Michael Jared Followill (chitară bass, back vocal), și vărul lor Cameron Matthew Followill (chitară, back vocal).

Kings Of Leon will be performing a magnificent music show in Romania on Saturday, 17th of June 2017, as a part of world tour in support of their most recent album “WALLS”.
Headliners of the greatest festivals of the world: Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde and Lollapalooza (Berlin, Chicago, Santiago Chile). In 14 years of career they have already produced 7 albums and won 2 Grammy awards: one for “Sex on Fire”, in 2009 and one for “Use Somebody” in 2010.
The music of Kings of Leon achieved initial success in the United Kingdom with nine Top 40 singles, two BRIT Awards in 2008, and all three of the band’s albums at the time peaked in the top five of the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, “Because of the Times”, also reached the number one spot. After the release of “Only by the Night” in September 2008 the band achieved chart success in the United States. The singles “Sex on Fire”, “Use Somebody”, and “Notion” all peaked at number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The album was their first Platinum-selling album in the United States, and was also the best-selling album of 2008 in Australia, being certified platinum nine times. The band’s fifth album, “Come Around Sundown”, was released on October 18, 2010. Their sixth album, “Mechanical Bull”, was released on September 24, 2013. The seventh studio album, “WALLS”, was released on October 14, 2016. In addition, they have had three NME Awards, two Brit Awards and one Juno Award.

The American band formed in Nashville,Tennessee is composed of brothers Anthony Caleb Followill (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ivan Nathan Followill (drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Michael Jared Followill (bass guitar, backing vocals), with their first cousin Cameron Matthew Followill (lead guitar, backing vocals).
