"Radioactive" a avut premiera azi dimineata, la posturile radio din UK. Imediat dupa, single-ul a fost postat si pe site-ul formatiei, insotit de un clip ilustrativ.
Single-ul este primul material promovat de pe noul album al formatiei, "Come Around Sundown". Albumul va fi lansat pe 18 octombrie si va fi promovat printr-un turneu in decembrie. Noile melodii de pe album au fost inregistrate in New York, a Avatar Studios, cu producatorii Angelo Petragalia si Jacquire King, aceeasi care au produs albumul precedent -"Only By The Night".
