HERE COMES THE SOUND launches this coming Thursday night at Joyces pub, 1-3 Piata Valter Maracineanu. After a truly amazing night there two weeks ago where the dj’s were left open-mouthed as a fever-pitched dancefloor just wouldn’t let them stop the music (even though it was 9am in the morning), we knew we’d found our party hideaway.

Haules Baules have secured 6 dates at this great intimate venue where the staff are cool and the soundsystem is hot, and we aim to make them truly outstanding events.

Haules Baules resident Logan will be joined each time by a hand-picked selection of dj guests from Bucharest and London to serve up an eclectic mix of mind-expanding dance music. Their brief, to enthral, surprise and delight the dancefloor, not just the latest big tracks, but to delve into their record collections and pull out their all-time favourites, their most influential and sometimes surprising tunes, to be bold and adventurous with their musical selection.

Adding a slice of the surreal into the mix we will be utilising the plasma screens by spiking them with LSD to bring you rare psychedelic counter-culture films from the 60’s and 70’s.

Finally to help the party really kick-off we’ve managed to bring you unbeatable drinks promotions each week, kicking off with draught Heineken at only 5ron a go.

HERE COMES THE SOUND launches this coming thursday 23 September. Music supplied by Logan and guest Giuser and psychedelic movies to include Robert Crumb’s “Fritz The Cat” and Rene Laloux’s “La Planete Sauvage”.

Everything kicks of at 11pm sharp. Get there early to guarantee entry, and of course entry is absolutely free!
