Chapter 1 :

  78 Edits has been making some serious waves over the past year with his pitched down-house re-works of old Disco, Funk and Soul tracks and although it seems like he has come from nowhere he has actually been honing his craft on the periphery of the Edinburgh 'scene' for the past 12 years.
With his four vinyl releases in 2011 on Giant Cuts ofshoots Original Cuts and 7 Sins, Get Down Edits and Kolour Ltd and having gained support from the likes of Sleazy Beats, LTJ Xperience, Cottam, Cosmic Boogie and Matthew Kyle (to name but a few).

Heion

  Heion’s musical style can only be caracterized by a single word: Awesome!! Although his style is influenced mainly by funk, disco, soul and boogie it is hard to put a label on his music. His passion and love for art urged him to channel his creativity through music. A creativity easily observed in his productions that are in his own words ‚as simple as dub-funk boogie with a soul hue’ yet full of raw creative energy. But one thing is certain! Whether it’s beat-down house or a raw disco track, the overall dub vibe will slowly get under your skin and make you move.
